About Us

How could I possibly condense over a hundred years of scouting down to just a few words?

There are other, far more eloquent people out there that can try. Pretty much all I can do is answer peoples questions to the best of my ability.

If you are interested in finding out more about Scouting in general I would check out the official site of the Boy Scouts of America. They say it better than I ever could. If you are more curious about our particular group I am going to answer a few of the most common questions about us.

Our Weekly meetings are held at the Kenosha Moose Lodge 3003 30th avenue in a meeting room downstairs. They are every Wednesday from 6:30 until 8:00 during the school year.

Most troops do not meet when there is no school, we have more flexibility in that regard. We will generally meet even on days when there is no school, unless we decide as a group not to meet that particular week.

A schedule of our upcoming meetings and events can be found HERE.

We tend not to have regular meetings during the summer months, though that is subject to change if enough people are interested in continuing through the summer. Even though we are not having meetings we do still get together for an activity of some sort about once a month or so. These are generally planned in advance of summer vacation.

If you would prefer to contact us directly you are welcome to simply stop by one of our activities. If you would like a call back to answer further questions  simply put your contact info in an e-mail.  One of our leaders will get back to you within a day or two.

For either questions about the troop or comments about the site feel free to drop us a line at:

Thanks for stopping by,

Brad Curtis
